Rachin Ravindra speaks forth about Indian fans screaming his name at the ODI World Cup in 2023. “I appreciate the support, especially while playing in Bangalore.” “I will never take the crowd chanting my name for granted,” Rachin Ravindra remarked.
Rachin Ravindra of New Zealand has established quite a name for himself during the present ODI World Cup. Ravindra, who is only 23 years old, has the most runs in the competition, with 565 in nine innings. As the renowned competition’s breakthrough star, the child seemed to have grabbed the hearts of Indian spectators as well.
Fans were spotted screaming Rachin Ravindra’s name as he stepped out to bat during the run chase when New Zealand faced Sri Lanka in the 41st game of the tournament at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. It’s worth noting that Ravindra’s family was from Bangalore before they came to New Zealand, and as a local guy, the 23-year-old has received a lot of affection.
In response, Ravindra stated that the affection from Indian supporters has been unreal and that he is appreciative for every piece of support fans have offered him during the World Cup 2023.
“It’s a surreal feeling, and I appreciate the support, especially playing in Bangalore.” I will never take the fans singing my name for granted. As a youngster, I fantasized about it. “I’m very happy to be here; fortunately, everything worked out,” Rachin Ravindra told Star Sports.

I have idolized Kane Williamson: Ravindra
With three hundreds and the leading run-scorer in the ODI World Cup 2023, it is surprising to consider that Ravindra nearly did not make the squad for the event. After skipper Kane Williamson took longer to recuperate from a knee injury, the 23-year-old was inserted into the starting lineup.
“I wasn’t even considered six to twelve months ago.” It’s a good one. Kane was my hero. I have several idols, including Virat Kohli, Steven Smith, and Joe Root. But Kane’s leadership, both on and off the field, keeps things peaceful,” Ravindra added.
