“Whatever procedure he underwent following the injury was very positive.” He is clearly unavailable for tomorrow’s play against Sri Lanka. But it’s an injury that requires us to check in every day to see how much he’s healed, how much he’s bowling, and how much he’s hitting. So we’re keeping an eye on it on a daily basis. The way things are going, we should be able to visit him as soon as possible. “That’s all I have to say for the time being,” Rohit Sharma stated during the pre-match news conference.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Hardik is also questionable for India’s ODI World Cup match against South Africa on November 5 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It is unclear if the 30-year-old would be available for India’s last league encounter against the Netherlands on November 12 in Bengaluru.
