New Zealand won the Match by 149 runs

Later in the second innings, Afghanistan’s innings never got going as no batter allowed to stay for long at the crease by the Kiwi bowlers. Rahmat Shah (36 off 62) and Azmatullah Omarzai (27 off 32) tried to dig in but couldn’t continue their innings. As a result, Afghanistan were finally bundled out for 139 in 34.4 overs losing the match by 149 runs. Mitchell Santer (3/39, 7.4 overs) and Lockie Ferguson (3/19, 7 overs) picked up three wickets each for New Zealand.
