On Thursday, October 12 in Lucknow, during Match 10 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, South African wicketkeeper batter Quinton de Kock once more appeared to be in superb shape. The southpaw produced a brilliant innings of 109 off 106 balls, slamming eight fours and five sixes in his innings, to record his second consecutive hundred of the competition.
Quinton hit Australian bowlers all over the park, showcasing his diverse repertoire of strokes. The 30-year-old batted against Josh Hazlewood in the 23rd over of the innings and casually scooped him for a six over fine leg. The southpaw hit the ball all the way for a six over fine leg while moving to his left.
Mitchell Marsh appeared to have a chance to cling onto the catch for a little moment, but the ball flew over him for a six. Quinton pulled Hazlewood for another maximum in the same way on the very next ball.
