In response, the Netherlands were reduced to 67/3 after 16.4 overs, with Vikramjit Singh (12 off 20). Max Odowd (16 off 31), and Bas de Leede (18 off 25) all returning to the pavilion. Trent Boult, who took a stunning catch at long-off to dismiss De Leede, was instrumental in his dismissal.
The left-arm seamer jumped to full height to receive the ball and immediately threw it away when the momentum carried him over the line. Boult came out of the boundary to catch the ball while it was still in the air, and he did so spectacularly.

Following De Leede’s dismissal, only Colin Ackerman from the Netherlands showed some fight with a 69-run innings that included five fours. Lower down the order, captain Scott Edwards (30 off 27) and Sybrand Engelbrecht (29 off 34) played useful knocks, but it wasn’t enough to get their side over the line.
As a result, the Netherlands were bowled out for 223 in 46.3 overs, with Mitchell Santner taking 5/59 in 10 overs and Boult taking 0/34 in eight.

Meanwhile, the Kiwis will try to maintain their winning streak when they face Bangladesh on Friday. October 13 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Netherlands, on the other hand, will be looking for their first victory when they meet South Africa on Tuesday, October 17 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
