There have been numerous injury concerns ahead of the forthcoming ODI World Cup, which is set to begin on October 5 in India. Wanindu Hasaranga, the outstanding Sri Lanka all-rounder who name Player of the Tournament in the previous T20 Asia Cup, join the list of cricketers who will miss the major tournament.

Meanwhile, Travis Head’s future remains uncertain because he is recovering from a hand injury. He is presently healing and is expect to miss a few World Cup matches. If not the entire tournament, with Marnus Labuschagne, who is not currently part of the World Cup roster, set to step in.
