On Tuesday, September 19, star Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi married former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi in Karachi. Pictures and videos from the ceremony have gone viral on social media, with supporters congratulating Pakistan’s fastest man on his special day.
On Monday, the pair performed a Mehendi ceremony at Shahid Afridi’s home, which attend by close friends and relatives. Notably, Shaheen and Ansha were engage in 2021, and their Nikah took held earlier this year on February 3.
The 23-year-old has previously stated that he had ponder marrying Ansha. “Obviously, it was my marriage; I was the one who considered marrying her. ” Lala and my brother have known one other for a long time, and our elders are also acquainted. So my mum went forward with the rishta (proposal), and the families accept. ” she reported by Insidesport as saying.
“There wasn’t a proper first meet-up as such. We used to go to each other’s houses. Whenever they’d come to our house I’d see her around and then we met at our Nikah. They say that you should always have a life partner that appreciates you and thank God I have that. She doesn’t get involve much but has always support me. ” He added.

Afridi finished as the joint second-highest wicket-taker of Asia Cup 2023
In addition, The left-arm seamer recently conclude as the Asia Cup 2023’s equal second-highest wicket-taker, with 10 wickets from five innings at an average of 23.50 and an economy of 5.73.
