India suffered a big blow after winning the Test and ODI series against the West Indies, losing the five-match T20I series 2-3. Romario Shepherd shone with the ball, taking four wickets, while Jason Holder and Akeal Hosein both took two. Brandon King, who had been having a quiet series, responded with an unbeaten 55-ball 85. Helping the team win by eight wickets with two overs to spare. Nicholas Pooran, who is in good form, also scored a 35-ball 47.

Nicholas Pooran wins the Player of the Series award

Former West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran was named Player of the Series. After being the most consistent batter for the home team throughout the series.
