The fact that all three outcomes were still conceivable going into the last day of each of the three Tests has been the best aspect of this year’s Ashes. Australia lost the third Test at Headingley by three wickets after two straight victories. The hosts’ chances of regaining the Ashes were maintained by the victory. They would, however, have been worried about Ollie Robinson’s ailment from the third Test.

He was able to bounce back and was a key contributor to his team’s first high-voltage series triumph. However, before the fourth Test in Manchester, English supporters would have been concerned about his fitness. The 29-year-old has stated that he is fully healthy and prepared, dispelling any remaining worries.
“Having that back spasm on the first day was quite annoying. Although the Headingley surface was shaping up wonderfully and I was really looking forward to bowling on it, these things happen. When I’ve previously experienced back spasms, they have typically built up and I can feel them starting. In contrast, when we landed, it felt like a sudden, sharp stabbing in the back,” Robinson told Wisden.
I told Ben Stokes, and he advised me to get off and visit the physiotherapist. We may have discovered it earlier than I have in the past. After receiving some acupuncture and other treatment, I felt better. On the third day, I could have bowled if I had been required. The medical staff stated that it is likely to have happened because I bowled 15 bumper overs at Lord’s and played back-to-back Test matches. These events thus occasionally occur, but they also vanish just as rapidly. I’ll be fully fit for Manchester,” Ollie Robinson declared.
England name unchanged squad for fourth Test
All 14 members of England’s Headingley squad will be back for the fourth Test, which starts on July 19. The Ben Stokes-led team is likely to stay with the same starting lineup after finally finding the winning recipe, barring any last-minute niggles. With Australia ahead 2-1, the Ashes are intriguingly tied.
