The Twitter account of India all-rounder Washington Sundar has been hack. Washington Sundar’s Twitter account look to have been hack, and a post with links to Cryptocurrencies sent.
It should be noted that this is not the first time a social media account has been hacked. The IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)’s Twitter account hacked twice, initially in September 2021 and again in January 2023.
RCB ended up tweeting about the NFT on the franchise’s timeline earlier this year. The hacker alter the profile photo and name to ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club’ and share NFT-related tweets, which were repeat by other NFT-related accounts.
A Bitcoin scammer also hacked India all-rounder Krunal Pandya’s account in 2022. According to one tweet from the compromised account, they were selling the account for bitcoins.

Sundar misses huge portion of the IPL 2023 season due to injury
Washington Sundar plays for the IPL’s 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The Aiden Markram-led franchise had a disastrous season, finishing last in the standings with only eight points. He’s force to withdraw from the prestigious league’s 16th season owing to a hamstring injury, which lost him significant time. In seven games for SRH, the 23-year-old bowling all-rounder took three wickets at an average of 48.66 and an economy rate of 8.26.
He batted 60 runs in seven innings, with an average of 15.00 and a strike rate of 100.00. During the previous IPL season, the Tamil Nadu-born star had suffered a split webbing in his bowling hand. Due to his continuing injury problems, the all-rounder has also missed a number of games for the Indian national men’s cricket team.
