All other teams find players, MS Dhoni makes players: Aakash Chopra. Chopra praised MS Dhoni’s superb captaincy methods following CSK’s victory over RCB.
MS Dhoni, who appears to be a natural leader, has often bailed out teams in trouble, whether it was CSK or India in the past. Even players have flourished under his command while obtaining the best advice in the game. In a similar vein, former cricketer Aakash Chopra heaped admiration on the CSK captain and spoke of players bringing out their best with Dhoni.
Chopra believes that while other teams locate players, Dhoni is the one who creates them. The commentator cited Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube as examples of how the 41-year-old has the inherent capacity to allow players to blossom under him.
“Ajinkya Rahane enjoys Bangalore and batted well during his time there.” Shivam Dube batted admirably as well. He was previously with RCB and the Rajasthan Royals, but what do you see with Dhoni – all other teams find players, MS Dhoni doesn’t find but creates players,” Chopra stated on his YouTube channel.

It’s heartening to see how well the guys are doing under Dhoni: Aakash Chopra
“Seeing the players perform under him is heartwarming.” The same can be said for Shivam Dube, and we’ve seen a different Ajinkya Rahane in the two or three matches he’s played. “What a shot, he hit a pulled six,” he continued.
Both Dube and Rahane were in good form in Chennai’s most recent IPL 2023 match, with the former delivering a crucial 52 off 27 and the latter adding in with 37 off 20. CSK posted a solid total of 226 runs on the board, thanks to Devon Conway’s magnificent 83 off 45. With Faf du Plessis (62 off 33) and Glenn Maxwell (76 off 36) at the crease, it appeared that RCB would reach the target in under 20 overs. However, crucial breakthroughs and Dhoni’s calm attitude helped CSK win the high-scoring thriller by eight runs at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
