Former India U19 captain arrested for abduction in Maharashtra Aurangabad. Former India U19 cricket team captain Vijay Zol charged with kidnapping, extortion, and rioting, along with 20 others.
Vijay Zol, the former captain of the India U19 cricket team, has been arrested along with 20 others. Including his brother, for kidnapping, extortion, and rioting. Following a complaint submitted by a crypto currency investment manager on Tuesday, January 17.
Vijay Zol and his brother Vikram Zol also arrested under provisions of the Indian Arms Act. Later that day, a man filed a complaint against the investment manager. Accusing him of stealing many lakhs of rupees from investors and engaging in a criminal conspiracy.
Speaking to the Times of India, Akash Shinde, Superintendent of Police, Jalna Police station said that,” We have lodged two FIRs based on the complaints from both sides.
We are verifying all of the accusations and charges in the FIRs and will take necessary action.”
The Times of India also contacted Vijay and Vikram’s father in an attempt to learn more about the situation and acquire their perspective on the allegations leveled against their two kids.
Bhausaheb Zol, Vijay’s father, is a distinguished criminal lawyer who stated, “My boys may have invest in the company of the bitcoin investment manager. But accusing them for kidnapping and extortion is completely incorrect.”
It is stated that Vijay and Vikram travel to Pune with the other suspects. Broke into the investment manager’s residence, and held him trapped in an Aurangabad hotel for 10 days. They then brought him to their residence in Jalna and imprisoned him. According to the FIR, the investment manager indicated that the Zol brothers made an investment in his business and that he advised them on the investing route.
While there are claims in the FIR against the investment adviser that he has scammed numerous individuals and obtained several thousands of rupees in the past.
