Shakib Al Hasan Returns To Bangladesh’s ODI Squad Against India. Al Hasan missed Bangladesh’s last two One-Day International (ODI) series against the West Indies and Zimbabwe.
Shakib Al Hasan returns to Bangladesh’s one-day team in the 16-man squad selected Thursday for India’s visit next month. Shakib skipped Bangladesh’s final two One-Day International series against the West Indies and Zimbabwe. Guided the team to the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia. Batsmen Najmul Hossain and Yasir Ali have also been recall. While batsman Mosaddek Hossain, spinner Taijul Islam, and paceman Shoriful Islam have been left out. India will play their first bilateral series in Bangladesh since 2015 on December 1.
The first two ODIs will be place in Dhaka on December 4 and 7, with the third in Chittagong on December 10, followed by two Tests.
Rain forced a stalemate in India’s sole Test match in Bangladesh last year, but the hosts won the ODI series 2-1.
