England drops to second place in the ODI rankings following a series defeat in Australia. England dropped to No. 2 on the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings following their 3-0 series loss to Australia, allowing New Zealand to take the top spot.

ODI rankings: England had 119 rating points before to the start of the series, five more than New Zealand.
However, following three straight losses, they dropped six points and finally behind New Zealand (114) with 113.
Australia also recognize for their exceptional achievement. They advanced one rank, passing Pakistan (107 rating points) to take over fourth place with 112 points. As a consequence, India and Australia are now equal for first place in terms of rating points, with India having a higher total score.
India is placed third with 112 rating points and 3802 total points. Australia is rated fourth, with 112 points and a total score of 3572.
England will have another chance to reclaim top position in January 2023 when they go to South Africa for a three-match series.
