“Watching My Dear Friend”: Ravindra Jadeja Posts Sanjay Manjrekar Photo. On Thursday, the saga between Manjrekar and Jadeja took another twist when the left-handed batter tweeted a photo of Manjrekar.
Ravindra Jadeja and Sanjay Manjrekar have come a long way since the 2019 World Cup, and the pair appear to have reconciled. During the 2019 50-over tournament, former India batter Manjrekar referred to Jadeja as a “bits and pieces” cricketer, which infuriated Jadeja, who responded on Twitter, “Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea. @sanjaymanjrekar.”
Manjrekar interviewed Jadeja after the 2022 Asia Cup group stage match against Pakistan, and before asking cricketing questions, he broke the ice by saying, “You are okay to talk to me Jaddu, right?” Following this, both Jadeja and Manjrekar burst out laughing.

It’s worth noting that Manjrekar is currently a Legends League Cricket commentator.
Jadeja posted on Twitter, “Watching my dear friend on screen @sanjaymanjrekar.”
“Ha ha… and your dear friend looking forward to seeing you on the field soon,” Manjrekar responded to this tweet.
Jadeja underwent knee surgery following the Asia Cup and is currently recovering.
Ravindra Jadeja’s knee injury will keep him out of the T20 World Cup. He did not play in India’s three-match T20I series against Australia, and he will not play in the white-ball games against South Africa that follow.
The absence of Ravindra Jadeja from the Indian squad was a major blow to the team, but Axar Patel’s rise has kept things balanced.
