The 52-year-old detained on Thursday night at a property on Sydney’s northern beaches. After a lady made several triple-0 calls, according to The Australian.
According to reports, the former opening batter and high-profile TV pundit for Channels 7 and 9 brought to a northern beaches police station before sent to hospital for a mental health evaluation.
NSW Police have asked for an interim apprehended violence order to safeguard the lady he was with at the time of his detention.

Michael Slater is bar from attacking, threatening, stalking, harassing, or intimidating the 53-year-old beauty therapist.
He is not permit to be within 100 meters of the woman’s home or workplace.
The NSW Police Department released a statement to news.com.au.
“Around 9.30pm on Thursday 22 September 2022, officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command responded to a report of a guy allegedly making a disturbance at a property on Wyuna Avenue, Freshwater,” according to the statement.
“Police came and spoke with a 52-year-old male who did not live on the property. ” The man nabbed when police discovered he was reportedly in violation of his bond.
“He was transport to Manly Police Station and then to Northern Beaches Hospital for evaluation.” The investigations continue.”
Slater already under tight release terms after being charge with repeat assaults, stalking, and bail violations.
Slater made news last month after an ex-girlfriend came forward with alarming text messages he allegedly sent, including revenge porn threats.
The new claimed incident follows the filing of several other complaints by police.
On July 18, the former celebrity reportedly attacked a guy in Frenchs Forest on Sydney’s northern beaches. He is fighting the charges.
The alleged conduct occurred four days after police were call to the 52-year-Manly old’s house on July 14.
He was transport to hospital and remained there till he haul to Manly police station on July 18 and charged with violation of bail. On July 14, police raced to his Sydney house out of worry for his well-being before transporting him in an ambulance to Northern Beaches Hospital.
At the time of the alleged event on July 18, he was given stringent conditional release. Which mean he had to abstain from drink and narcotics and be of good behavior.
Slater is also bar from contacting complainants who receive threats against him.
Following an incident the month before, he accuse in May with assault and stalking/intimidating a lady, and he has plead not guilty.
Charges stemming from a second incident in 2021 were drop earlier this year on mental health grounds.
