Arshdeep Singh, 23, was heavily chastised on social media. After dropping a catch during the Asia Cup Super 4 match against Pakistan on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium. The team led by Rohit Sharma lost by five wickets, and Arshdeep has since been targeted by trolls on social media. The pacer, on the other hand, has told his parents that he is laughing at the tweets he is reading on the internet and that he will only take positives from it.

Arshdeep had taken all the criticism and remained positive.
“‘I am laughing at all these tweets and messages,’ he said. I’m only going to take the good out of it. “This incident has only strengthened my confidence,” Darshan, Arshdeep’s father, told the Indian Express.
“Arshdeep told us that the entire Indian team is behind him,” his mother Baljeet said.
The biggest talking point of the India-Pakistan game came in the 18th over of Pakistan’s innings. When young seamer Arshdeep Singh dropped a relatively easy chance off the bowling of Ravi Bishnoi and Asif Ali was given a reprieve. Arshdeep then came on to bowl the final over, but he was unable to defend seven runs, and Pakistan eventually won.
