“According to Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel. Which relates to minimum over-rate offenses. Players fine 20% of their match fee for each over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time.” The official release stated.

Nicholas Pooran pleaded guilty to the offense and accepted the proposed sanction.
The charge was level by on-field umpires Leslie Reifer and Nigel Duguid, third umpire Gregory Brathwaite, and fourth umpire Patrick Gustard.
India captain Rohit Sharma was in fine form in the first T20I against the West Indies, scoring 64 runs off 44 balls with seven fours and two sixes. During this innings, Rohit surpassed Martin Guptill of New Zealand to become the leading run-scorer in men’s T20Is.
In the first T20I between India and the West Indies, India batted first and scored 190/6 in 20 overs. Rohit played a 64-run knock, while Dinesh Karthik hit an unbeaten 41-run knock off 19 balls, including four fours and two sixes.
Arshdeep Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravi Bishnoi each returned with two wickets as India won by 68 runs after reducing West Indies to 122/8 in 20 overs.
