Kohli will miss the upcoming series against the West Indies. Fans have suggested that the former captain use this time to improve his form by practicing at his childhood academy.

“This academy is his turf. He didn’t have time before, but now that he does. He can spend some time with himself over here and practice. I’d be thrilled if he came here and enjoyed and felt at ease in this setting “Rajkumar Sharma, Virat Kohli’s childhood coach, told ANI.

Kohli scored only 11 and 20 in the fifth and final Test against Edgbaston, and he continued his poor form in T20Is, scoring only 12 runs in two innings.

Kohli also had a subpar IPL 2022 season, scoring 341 runs in 16 games at an average of 22.73 and a strike rate of 115.98. During the tournament, he only managed two half-centuries.
Kohli has struggled in Blue this year, scoring only 158 runs with two fifties in six ODI innings and 81 runs with one fifty in four T20I innings.
