Rashid Khan has named three players for his dream hat-trick, including an ex-teammate. Khan, an Afghanistan and IPL star, has chosen an Indian, a Pakistani, and a New Zealander for a dream hat-trick.
Rashid Khan has left an indelible mark on the Indian Premier League (IPL) since his debut in the T20 franchise league in 2017. Khan, who began his IPL career with SunRisers Hyderabad, is now playing for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022, but batters have yet to find their way out of his spin web. Khan has 101 wickets in 83 matches at a strike rate of 19.60 after GT’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Mumbai on Saturday. His economy of 6.35 RPO is also outstanding.

Rashid Khan: Three international players in mind for a dream hat-trick
Khan revealed in a recent interview with the YouTube channel 12th khiladi that despite all of his accomplishments, he has three international players in mind for a dream hat-trick. “Virat (Kohli), Babar Azam, Kane Williamson,” Khan said when asked who he’d like to see as his dream hat-trick victims.
Khan has played four T20Is against India with Kohli in the playing XI and has only dismissed him once, while the former India captain has scored 21 off 24 balls against the spinner. Khan has a better record against Azam, having dismissed him five times in five T20Is. Azam, on the other hand, has a strike rate of 122.91 against Khan. Khan has only dismissed Williamson once in three T20Is against New Zealand. The New Zealand captain, a long-time SRH teammate, has scored 30 off 29 balls against the Afghanistan superstar.
Khan has played five Tests, 80 One-Day Internationals, and 58 Twenty20 Internationals for Afghanistan, taking 34, 151, and 105 wickets in those three formats, respectively. Rashid had six wickets in seven games in the IPL 2022 prior to Saturday’s match, with a strike rate of 24.00. His economy rate is 6.66 RPO.
