Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fell to Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday in the ongoing IPL 2022 season. Failing to record back-to-back victories at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. David Miller, who smashed an unbeaten 94-run knock off 51 balls for GT, was in superb form and successfully led them past the finish line in a tense chase. The game could have ended differently because, much to the surprise of Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube pulled out of what appeared to be a sitter of a catch in the 17th over. Miller received a slow delivery on the third delivery of the over and attempted to pull it but instead lobbed it high.
Miller was saved from being caught in the deep when Dube, who was running in from cow corner, pulled out of the catch at the last moment. Jadeja was enraged and nearly threw his cap in rage because he couldn’t believe what he saw.

Ruturaj Gaikwad’s 73-run knock off 48 balls helped CSK post 169 for five in 20 overs, setting a target of 170 runs.
GT’s Alzarri Joseph was on fire, taking two wickets in four overs.
Meanwhile, Miller’s unbeaten innings aided GT’s total of 170 for seven in 19.5 overs.
CSK now sits ninth in the 10-team table, with two points from six games. Meanwhile, GT is in first place with 10 points from six games.
