Daniel Sams could be an honest-to-goodness Huge Bash Alliance whiz (BBL). With a normal of 20.52, the left-arm bowler has 82 wickets in a fair 62 trips. He has also scored 622 runs in that time, with a tall of 98 not out and a strike rate of 148.1. The Indian Head Association, on the other hand, has proven to be a troublesome nut to break for the Australians so far.

Sams made three appearances for the Delhi Capitals in 2020, going wicketless in all three. He was afterward exchanged to Illustrious Challengers Bangalore, where he showed up in two IPL 2021 matches some time recently. The competition was ended owing to Covid’s involvement. He was unable to compete in the IPL 2021 leg within the newly formed Middle Eastern Emirates.

Sams took a wicket in each of the two matches he played for RCB, bowling at a 6.50 economy rate.

After a furious bidding war with Lucknow Super Giants on Day 2 of the IPL mega auction earlier this year, Mumbai Indians splurge Rs 2.6 crore for the Australian. Mumbai would have hoped for an immediate return on their investment, but they are still waiting.

Sams has appeared in both of Mumbai’s IPL 2022 matches, and has been disappointing to say the least. The Australian has gone wicketless in both games and has been bowled out for 89 runs at an economy rate of  11.13.

In the short time he has been in the IPL; Sams has been a huge disappointment.

In the IPL’s history, the Australian has the worst bowling; average (minimum of 25 overs). In seven games, he has bowled 26 overs and only one wicket at an average of 242 runs per over.

In the Big Bash League’s sixth season, a left-arm pacer set a new record; for the greatest figures on debut with four for 14, although the Indian Premier League has yet to have a performance like that.
