Pakistan vs. Australia: Fans Use Brutal Memes To  Train Guns On Rawalpindi Pitch Curator

In the first innings, Pakistan declared 476 for four, while Australia scored 459 all out. Because of the run fest, the Test ended in a drab draw. And this hasn’t gone down well with many fans, with some taking to Twitter to criticize the pitch curator.

Pakistan’s first home Test against Australia in nearly a quarter-century was not the best advert  for  the  game’s longest format.

It has nothing to do with the quality of either team’s performance; rather, the pitch at the Rawalpindi Cricket  Stadium has left a lot to be desire. For the first time since 1998, Australia is visiting Pakistan.

Having previously refus to visit due to security concerns, the Test series was views as an opportunity for Pakistan to put their skills to the test at home against one of the top cricketing nations.

The first Test, however, has been a letdown, with the pitch providing nothing for the bowlers.

Both teams’ batters have had a field day, with the bowlers completely at their disposal.

With the odds stacked against them, Imam-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Usman Khawaja, and Marnus Labuschagne  partied in Rawalpindi, piling on the runs.

One fan even held a placard at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a message for the pitch curator.

In the second innings, Pakistan openers Imam and Abdullah Shafique wreaked havoc on the Australian bowlers. Both openers scored unbeaten centuries before the match ended in a draw, with Pakistan scoring 252 for no loss in their second innings. The second Test of the series will be held in Karachi from March 12 to 16, with the third taking place in Lahore from March 21 to 25.
