Rohit Sharma state on Wednesday that he is please to have Jasprit Bumrah as his vice-captain for the forthcoming T20I and Test series against Sri Lanka. Adding that he doesn’t mind if the leadership group includ a batsman or a bowler.
Bumrah was name India’s vice-captain for the first time in the ODI series against South Africa earlier this year.
In the absence of KL Rahul, who is out due to injury. Bumrah will be Rohit’s deputy in the home series against Sri Lanka.
