Former India captain Kohli has responded to a letter from ex-teammate Yuvraj in which the latter referred to him as a “great captain.“
Kohli wrote a poignant tribute for Yuvraj on Instagram, stating that the now-retired batsman “will always be an inspiration.” “Thank you for this beautiful gesture, Yuvi Pa,” Kohli wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of Yuvraj’s message.
“Coming from someone who has been with me from the start of my career, it means a lot; your life and recovery from cancer have been, are, and will continue to be an example to people from all walks of life, not just cricket fans,” Kohli added.

Kohli commented, “I’ve known you for who you are, and you’ve always been very generous and loving to everyone around you.”
Now that we’re both parents, we realize how fortunate we are. In this new adventure, I wish you all the happiness, beautiful memories, and blessings.”
Kohli was responding to Yuvraj’s message from the day before. In which he praised India’s talismanic batter.
Virat, I’ve watched you develop as a cricketer and as a human being. You’ve gone from being a young lad in the nets who would walk shoulder-to-shoulder with Indian cricket icons to being a legend yourself, paving the way for a new generation.
