Yash Dhull, who recently led India to victory in the U19 World Cup, marked his first-class debut with a century in the ongoing Ranji Trophy Elite Group H match on Thursday.

The Delhi hitter achieved triple digits against Tamil Nadu at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Following his knock, Dhull has gotten a slew of awards. Former India batsman Vinod Kambli has weighed in on the youngster’s potential following his Ranji Trophy debut against Tamil Nadu.
Kambli expressed his thoughts on Yash Dhull, saying that consistent results in the domestic circuit and a strong Indian Premier League (IPL) season might lead to a national call-up.

Yash Dhull has made a grand entrance into the first-class matches. I am confident that with regular domestic results and a strong IPL season, this young guy would be able to play for India. Mr. Dhull, congratulations,” Kambli commented on Koo.

Dhull will be in action throughout the upcoming season of the IPL after leading India to a record-extending sixth U19 World Cup win earlier this year. The Delhi Capitals (DC) bought Dhull for Rs 50 lakh in the IPL mega auction last week.
