Ben McDermott 127 is a Renegade who breaks records. Ben McDermott of the Hobart Hurricanes became the first player in BBL history to score consecutive century, leading his team to an 85-run victory over the Melbourne Renegades.
On Wednesday night at the Docklands Stadium. McDermott smashed nine sixes and as many fours in a spectacular performance of 127 from 65 balls.

McDermott has 304 runs in three innings as an opener, with a strike rate of 180.95. He was promoted to the top of the order on Christmas Eve.
He hit 67 off 43 balls against the Stars and then hit an unbeaten 110 off 60 balls against the Adelaide Strikers on Monday.
After a shaky start to the season, the three monster efforts have resulted in a hat-trick of victories. Putting the Hurricanes (four wins and three losses) well back in the title hunt.
After five straight losses, the Renegades (one win and five losses). Are staring down the barrel of a third straight wooden spoon.
