TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) opened a total of 4,60,000 sarva darshan tickets for the January 2022 quota on Monday
According to recent estimates, TTD sold out all 4.6 lakh special access darshan tickets within an hour of releasing the online allotment for January 2022. The TTD official website also confirmed that the special admission darshan quota for January is fully booked, with thousands of pilgrims logging in.
At 9 a.m. on Monday morning, the online quota of slotted Sarvadarshana (SSD) tokens for January 2022 was announced.
TTD said:
“As the number of devotees grows, more measures are being enforce to protect devotees’ health,”
“We implore the devotees to support this choice.”
Therefore, a proof of vaccination with two doses of vaccine or a negative covid report are requires for Tirumala Darshan.
However, from January 13 to 22, TTD will distribute 5,000 complimentary darshan tickets per day for online booking for the Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshanam days. The temple trust would also give 10,000 slotted sarva darshan seats per day in January for all other days. TTD also offered 5,500 virtual service tickets for January 1, 2, 13, 22, and 26 on December 23.
