“Being selected in a representative age-group squad, especially for a World Cup. Is always a highly exciting moment for any young cricketer,” Young Lions head coach Richard Dawson said.
“We’re really excited to get out there and compete against the finest young players in the world, as well as continue our development as a team and as individuals.”
The England Young Lions have been placed in Group A alongside Bangladesh. The tournament winners in 2020, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. On January 16, they will launch their campaign against Bangladesh at St Kitts.
