New Zealand vs West Indies: Defenders of the title England’s campaign will begin on March 5 against Australia, while India will face Pakistan the following day.
Hosts On March 4, New Zealand will play West Indies in the first match of the Women’s ODI World Cup in Tauranga.
Six-time champions the next day, Australia will face defending champions England at Seddon Park in Hamilton, while India, the runners-up in the last edition, will face Pakistan in a showpiece match in Tauranga on March 6.
The eight teams will compete for the trophy over the course of 31 days, according to the ICC.
New Zealand vs West Indies: The tournament will be held in six cities:
Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Wellington.
The final will be held on April 3 in Christchurch. The event will be contested in a league system, similar to the previous edition, with each team meeting the other teams once.
The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, which will be held on March 30 and 31 in Wellington and Christchurch, respectively. There will be a reserve day for both the semi-finals and the final.
Australia, England, South Africa, and India qualified for the global event based on their finishes. In the ICC Women’s Championship 2017-20, while New Zealand qualified as hosts automatically

New Zealand vs West Indies: Following the cancellation of the World Cup qualifying event in Zimbabwe due to the Covid-19 threat last month. Bangladesh, the West Indies, and Pakistan were able to clinch their places based on their team rankings.
This will be the first major global women’s event since the Covid-19 pandemic began in 2020.
The Women’s T20 World Cup, which took place in Australia in March 2020. And was won by the hosts by defeating India in the final, was the most recent worldwide women’s event.
India will play five One-Day Internationals against hosts New Zealand before the World Cup as part of their preparation.
